Dear readers,

The coming month will be very quiet on my blog (just like it was last month). The reason for this is that my schoolwork really needs my full attention and concentration. I always put a lot of time in my blog, but I don't have that time at the moment. But I promise: I will be back in June and then will my blog be better than it was!

In the meantime, you can just read my previous posts or not visit my blog at all, haha!

'30s Legend: Bette Davis

Who is she?
Bette Davis is also a Hollywood actress from the '30s (well, she started in the '30s. She made her last movie in the '80s), an American actress this time. Bette Davis was not a very pretty woman, but still, she stole everyone's heart with her classic style and big eyes. Kim Carnes even wrote a song about her eyes.

'30s Legend: Greta Garbo

Who is she?
Greta Garbo is a Swedish Hollywood actress from a couple decades ago. She made many successful movies. Some even say she is the best actress of all times... Even though she died in 1990, she made her last movie in 1941. She retired that year already even though is was only 35.

'20s Legend: Coco Chanel

Who is she?

Well, I think this question might be a bit otiose, but whatever. Coco Chanel is the fashion designer who founded Chanel. She once started as a seamstress and worked her way up to one of the most famous women. Her name is not only a name anymore, it's an understanding.

A Lil' Sneak Preview

Hello hello everyone! This weeks will be a bit different as regards my blogposts-subject because these two (or more) weeks will contain Style Icons-posts. And not just Style Icons, but the best and greatest Style Icons of the past decades! I'll start in '20 and I will stop in... '10. A few names you can expect: Coco Chanel, Jackie Kennedy, Farrah Fawcett, Kate Moss, Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn.

Today's Outfit #14: Short Jacket, High Pants

Hello! I was very lazy today. I was even this lazy that I just couldn't take a few more steps to get out of the garden and make the pictures outside of it. So that's why I took my photos in the garden. Bad me...

What I personally liked about this outfit is that where the jacket stopped, the pants began, hehe. And my hair looks red on the picture above... Hm, weird... Probably because of the sunset...

To Dye For

It was a trend last year and I suspect it will be a trend coming spring and summer too: dip-dye hair. You have ombre-hair and dip-dye hair. I'm not sure but I always thought (and I still do) that the difference between those two is that dip-dye hair is with colors and ombre with natural hair colors, like blond or brown.

Today's Outfit #13: Casual&Chic

Hello hello! Today wasn't the best day to take pictures for me because I had a not so photogenic day today. Besides, it was soooo cold - you wouldn't say so because the sun is shining - but there is a very cold wind blowing through Holland. And that's so bad because if that wind wasn't here, the weather would be so nice!

Perfection.

I set a goal for the spring: I need to find the perfect leather jacket! I was googling or lookbook-ing (I don't remember) and burst into this image. This girl is wearing THE perfect jacket. I WANT THAT ONE! The jacket is from Zara but I was too late - the jacket wasn't available anymore when I searched for it. And even if it was still available I don't think I could afford the jacket because Zara can be very expensive...
